Automations
Scheduled tasks and event-based AI workflows.
Automation Tasks run on a schedule. Event Automations run when something happens in WordPress, WooCommerce or supported form plugins.
Automation Tasks
Scheduled tasks are recurring prompts that can use enabled MCP tools. They are useful for reports, summaries, maintenance checks and recurring editorial work.
- Name the task.
- Write or test the AI prompt.
- Select tools.
- Choose schedule and timezone.
- Set token budget.
- Choose output actions.
Tool selection
| Mode | Use when |
|---|---|
| Use Active Profile | The active profile already matches the task. |
| Detected Tools Only | You tested the prompt and want to reduce token usage. |
| Custom Selection | The task needs a precise tool set. |
Output actions
Every execution is saved to the log. Additional actions include email notifications, webhooks and draft post creation.
- Email reports to administrators or store managers.
- Send webhook payloads to Slack, Discord, Telegram, Make, Zapier or n8n.
- Create draft posts for editorial review.
Templates
Common templates include Daily Sales Report, Low Stock Alert, Weekly Content Summary, SEO Meta Optimizer, Review Response Generator and Expired Coupons Cleanup.
Event Automations
Event Automations use triggers such as post published, order completed, product low stock, user registered, comment posted, media uploaded or form submitted.
Execution logs
Execution logs show status, task or automation name, date, output, errors and details. Use logs to tune prompts before enabling production workflows.
